General Mills’ Worldwide Innovation Network, known as G-Win, actively seeks partners who have proven solutions in the areas of health, ingredients, packaging, processing technologies, products and sustainability.
Interested candidates can submit application spontaneously, but if the company has a specific problem it posts details on its site.
It is currently seeking ideas for novel edible formulations and processes for binding discrete foods – such as fibres, hydrocolloids or proteins - before the 17 August 2016 deadline. “Natural ingredients are preferred [and] the formulation should be functional throughout the shelf-life of the food product, at minimum 6 months from the date of manufacture.”
Types of collaboration could include licencing agreements, supply agreements or the purchasing of technology rights, it said.
