Corsica
Covering an area of 8,680km2, Corsica has a total of nine PDOs (protected designation of origin).
Corsica has over 100 private wineries and four co-operatives, making it the third most important winegrowing island in the Mediterranean after Sicily and Sardinia. Rosé wine is the most commonly produced wine in Corsica.
