Twinings offers Green Tea blends for all day
Tea maker Twinings expands its line of green tea bags with the addition of a fruity green tea with pomegranate, raspberry and strawberry, a naturally decaffeinated green tea and a “nightly calm” green tea that is combined with chamomile. The company also offers a jasmine green tea. In addition, it now offers organic tea in K-Cups, which a spokeswoman says “takes the guess work out of brewing.” K-Cups for tea saw stellar growth from 2011-2013, but the segment declined 8.9% in 2015, according to market research from Mintel. The dip casts doubt on the long-term sustainability of K-Cups for tea delivery.
