Pyramid bags offer quality at lower price point than loose tea
Aiya’s new Tea Tester’s Line offers Americans a chance to try three organic green teas from southwest Japan in convenient pyramid bags. Unlike flat tea bags, the pyramid bags give the tea more space to expand in hot water and hold a higher quality cut of tea for a better experience. With a suggested retail price of $7.95 to $12.60 the tea bags are more modestly priced than loose leaf teas, which will encourage newcomers in the category to try the drink, a spokesman said. The line includes Gyokuno, Matcha Infused Sencha and Matcha Infused Grenmaicha.
