EuroPack Summit 2014
The Coca-Cola Company, Carlsberg Group and Henkel close EuroPack 10th anniversary
Eamonn Bates, chairman of the summit and secretary general, Pack2Go Europe, opened the two-day conference which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
Speakers included Virginia Janssens MD, Europen (European Organization for Packaging and the Environment), Ulrik Rasmussen, MD, Grower’s Cup and Shira Rosen, packaging development manager, Strauss Group.
There were also live debates between Stephane Egret, packaging innovator, The Coca-Cola Company, Dr Horst Wenck, corporate VP Front End Innovation, Beiersdorf and Dr Martin Zethoff, director global packaging technology laundry and home care, Henkel.
Discussions centred on the EU legislation on the packaging and packaging waste directive and the Circular Economy.
