John Orr, VP, Craft Beer Sales, Ardagh Group, Glass, North America, told FoodProductionDaily, the glass bottles and jars are manufactured at Ardagh Group’s Pevely, Missouri, facility, which is located 35 miles from the O’Fallon Brewery in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

As with most brand owners, many craft brewers are interested in original packaging that will differentiate them from their competition,” he said.

When craft brewers choose glass bottles, they are selecting a package that is 100% endlessly recyclable, non-porous and chemically inert, providing excellent shelf life, and preserving the freshness and maintaining the true taste of the product.

Glass packaging also resonates with the majority of consumers whose brand and product choices are influenced by the use of renewable and recyclable packaging materials, according to EcoFocus Worldwide Research.”
