Konnekt Smartdrinks expands wellness range with Ardagh’s eye-catching bottle

The wellness beverage manufacturer needed a standout sustainable packaging to standout from the competition in the premium health drinks category. 

Konnekt Smartdrinks chose Ardagh’s eye-catching 250ml screw top shaped aluminium bottle for three flavors conveys the brand’s emphasis on innovation, energy and a healthy lifestyle. 

The design has already been nominated for the 2018 NL Packaging Awards. 

James Russell Reid, who created Konnekt Smartdrinks in 2014, said the shaped aluminium bottle was ideal for its expanding brand. 

“Our team has worked hard to create a beverage that meets a growing consumer demand to enhance performance, alertness and energy levels through natural ingredients, and the choice of the right packaging was important​,” he added. 

Konnekt Smartdrinks portfolio includes amino acid substances to replace sugar, sweeteners and additives. 

The reclosable bottles are manufactured at Ardagh’s specialist aluminium plant in in Beaurepaire, France.

The product is available across Europe, the Middle East and India.
