Amcor White Cap has launched a new deep-drawn Twist-Off screw closure with special features exclusively for metal containers.
The 89mm TNV Amcor White Cap Twist-Off closure has been chosen by Elite Industries of Ramat Gan, Israel for use with its Elite Instant Coffee, which is packed in a special 200g shaped metal container.
Available through multiple retailers and food outlets in Israel, the company claims that the unique selling point of the pack is the extra stacking bead on the cap which enables the closure surface and container end to be matched and therefore optimally stacked - a major benefit both during transportation and on the supermarket shelf.
The extra step also provides an advantage over competing closure systems, which do not have this feature, Amcor White Cap claims.
Once opened and after removal of the aluminium foil on the container, the closure can be resealed, ensuring an airtight and aroma-tight pack.
The cap is offset printed four colours with red predominant, complimenting the printing and brand information on the metal container.
Amcor White Cap believes that the pack has great potential and that the added value features of the closure will provide substantial benefits.
