Letica's Smart Seal container features a tear tab lid that prevents pilferage or tampering with products.
The tear tab must be removed before the lid can be opened. The gasketless lid gives a watertight seal even after reclosure. The container comes with a plastic handle. It is tapered to allow emptycontainers to be nestled for shipping.
Lids and handles available in twelve colours or custom colors upon request. The company is targeting the container for companies selling foods, drinks flavorings, fruit and dairy products.
The container was developed in conjunction with El Paso Chile for its freezer drink mixes. El Paso Chile said it needed a tamper proof container that did not change the flavour of its products.Each container of El Paso Chile freezer drink mix holds pouches of dry and liquid ingredients. The customer mixes the ingredients with water and spirits, then freezes the mix in the Smart Sealcontainer.
