Lithuanian company Putoksnis PET Packaging has expanded its preform production capacities by introducing new design PET preforms of 34g and 36g specially created for 1.5 litre bottles.

In November this year a state of the art 72 cavity Husky preform production line will begin production at the company's Putoksnis Plant.

The company claims that the Baltic market is growing so fast that, after recent installation of two Husky lines at the beginning of the current year, it has had to invest again in order to expand preform production capacities.

Putoksnis PET Packaging has been developing and manufacturing PET packaging for food and beverage markets across Western and Eastern Europe since 1994. During recent years Putoksnis has built reputation among beverage manufacturers. Over 80 per cent of PET preforms for water, soft drinks and beer are exported to Germany, Austria and Scandinavia.

The company will introduce its latest preform developments during the Brau Beviale 2002 exhibition that will take place on 13-15 November at Nuremberg Fair Centre. For further information please contact the company website.
