The expansion follows a strong consumer response since the brand’s debut in Bangalore in December 2025 and its subsequent launch in Goa in May, the company said. BuzzBallz is now available in Maharashtra and Pune, with a Mumbai launch scheduled for later this month.
The brand’s India portfolio features four flavours created exclusively for the market: Berry Lemon Squeeze; Strawberry Squeeze; Chili Guava Groove and Jamun Mint Pop.
India’s RTD segment is gaining momentum with IWSR predicting the category is projected to grow at a 6% CAGR through 2034, ahead of the projected growth for several traditional beverage alcohol categories.
The expansion comes amid rapid global growth for BuzzBallz. In June, the brand was described as the “new darling” of the UK alcohol category as it had rocketed into the Top 100 with the biggest absolute gain of any brand in The Grocer’s Britain’s Biggest Alcohol Brands 2026 report.
The sister title to Beverage Daily revealed that the RTD cocktails challenger, notable for its spherical packs, added £73m [NIQ 52 w/e 18 April 2026] amid a boom for RTDs. It has grown volumes by 952% which is the fastest gain while value sales are up 827%.
Jess Scheerhorn, President, BuzzBallz, said: “We’ve seen incredible momentum since our launch in late 2025, and that response tells us adult Indian consumers are ready for a bolder, more convenient way to enjoy cocktails.”
Scheerhorn said that BuzzBallz has captured a sizeable share in the markets where it is currently available.
“From the instantly recognizable ball-shaped pack and bold flavors to the 15% ABV and convenient single-serve format, the proposition is unlike much of what consumers have traditionally encountered in the category,” Scheerhorn said.
“As Indian consumers become more experimental in their choices, we see a real opportunity for brands that can bring together flavour, convenience and a sense of fun.”
