Plant-based Milo

Nestlé is launching plant-based Milo in Thailand this month: with the chocolate malt RTD beverage based on soy for a ‘nutritious plant-based alternative’.

A 180ml carton contains around 5g of protein, is high in calcium and contains vitamins and minerals.

Chaiyong Sakulborrirug, Business Executive Officer – Dairy & Adult Nutrition, Nestlé (Thai) Ltd., said: "Plant-based beverages are becoming increasingly popular in Thailand as people look to lessen their environment impact and take care of their health. We believe this launch will help create a positive trend towards plant-based alternatives."

Plant-based Milo is already available in other markets such as Malaysia.

“White Claw Hard Seltzer Passion Fruit is crafted through the proprietary BrewPure process and offers consumers a new way to enjoy the same gluten-free, 100 calories and 5% ABV experience.”

Hemp-infused CBD cocktails

Alcohol-free, hemp-infused US beverage brand jeng is launching two new flavors.

The Paloma, and the jeng & Tonic, have been designed to ‘re-imagine the classic cocktail experience, with natural ingredients that will impress even the most discerning cocktail drinkers.’

Paloma pairs pink grapefruit, juniper berry agave and rosemary ‘for a perfect combination in this subtle departure from the original recipe’.

jeng & tonic combines natural juniper, lime, tonic flavors and a touch of natural hemp extract.

The two news flavors join jeng’s flagship Moscow Mule.

All three of jeng's flavors are hemp-infused and include 11mg of CBD.

“We intentionally formulated jeng to have a “sessionable” amount of CBD to make it enticing, not intimidating,” said co-founder John Enghauser. “It’s the perfect amount for someone who may never have heard of CBD but is eager to try it."
