Magic Straw Can will ‘wow’ young consumers: Ball Packaging

Ball Packaging promises that it’s new with a built-in straw will ‘trigger a ‘wow’ effect’ among young consumers in particular after successful tests in Spain and the UK.

The company will launch the Magic Straw Can (pictured) at DrinkTec in Munich this September, and it said the straw was decorable using laser technology.

Thus it offers additional space for branded content – logos or promotional codes.

Benoit Hirszowski, marketing director at Ball Packaging Europe, said: “The Magic Straw Can not only triggers that ‘wow’ effect. It also has a particularly small opening.

“That reduces the danger of contamination. The can-integral straw thus also promises enhanced product and consumer protection.”
