America is gearing up for the Big Game on Sunday 9 February as the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans.
And beverage brands have been flexing their creative muscles with TV spots released this week ahead of the game.
Here’s some of the campaigns that Americans will be treated to on Sunday.
Stella Artois: David Beckham and Matt Damon
David Beckham and Matt Damon play two long-lost twins (‘David and Dave’) who bond over Anheuser-Busch’s Stella Artois.
Sport and lifestyle icon David Beckham discovers a twin brother, “Dave Beckham”, played by longtime Stella Artois ambassador Matt Damon. The two reunited brothers bond over some ice-cold beers and hot wings while getting to know each other’s similarities and differences and uncovering their mutual love for Stella Artois.
Launching with a :60 spot in Super Bowl LIX, “David and Dave” will serve as the launchpad for Stella Artois’ new campaign, “For Moments Worth More”. This will feature multiple colorful spots across the year, each building on the story of ‘David and Dave’.
Budweiser: Clydesdale foal
Budweiser unveiled its Super Bowl LIX spot, “First Delivery‚” which brings back the iconic Clydesdale hitch and features the brand’s smallest Super Bowl star in over a decade: a Clydesdale foal.
Through the journey of a determined foal who yearns to join the beer delivery but isn’t old enough, the spot depicts a story of resilience and dedication and embodies the brand’s iconic tagline, “This Bud’s for You,” which celebrates the grit and determination that make up the American spirit.
The spot for the Anheuser-Busch brand was directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker and Emmy Award-winning commercial director Henry Alex Rubin and created by FCB New York.
As the hitch leaves the brewery, one of the kegs falls off the wagon, and only the foal notices. Immediately, he springs into action and starts to nudge the keg with his head in pursuit of the hitch. A winding journey through backcountry ensues, and ultimately, the foal succeeds, rolling the keg onto Main St. with sheer determination to his fellow Clydesdales and a few onlookers cheering him on.
Inside the bar, locals are unwinding after a day of work and a patron begins a joke, stating, “So a horse walks into a bar,” just as the foal rolls the keg inside and “Delivering Since 1876” appears on the screen.
Coors Light: Super Bowl Sloths and a Case of the Mondays
Coors Light has unveiled its 2025 Big Game ad, highlighting just how tough a “Case of the Mondays” can really be.
In the spot, football fans are forced to face the dreaded Monday after the national championship — except in this version, each fan is a sloth.
Chaos ensues as the sluggish sloths struggle through everyday tasks: bagging groceries, sifting through emails, and even taking part in an epic, slow-motion chase. But everything changes when someone grabs a pack of Mondays Light, swapping their sloth-like pace for the crisp chill of mountain-cold refreshment.
The advert actually originated from a typo: It all started on Monday 13 January when Coors Light misspelled ‘refreshment’ on ads in high-profile places across North America. The brand apologized and blamed it on a ‘Case of the Mondays’.
Now, the Molson Coors brand has embraced the mishaps with its sloth Super Bowl spot.
STōK Cold Brew Coffee: Dance moves
As the official stadium sponsor for Welsh football club Wrexham AFC – co-owned by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds – STōK is giving the players the energy they need to step up their celebration dances. This year, they’re taking their moves from the STōK Cae Ras to American football’s biggest game of the year.
In the new Big Game ad spot, Channing Tatum, actor and producer known for his show-stopping dance skills, is called on by co-owners Reynolds and McElhenney to become the choreographer for Wrexham AFC.
In the ad, created by Reynolds' Maximum Effort, Tatum challenges the team’s players to turn up the heat on their goal-scoring celebrations – all fueled by the bold taste of STōK Cold Brew Coffee – in a routine set to “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” by C+C Music Factory.
Michelob Ultra: Friendly competition
Michelob ULTRA, a superior light beer known for championing an active and social lifestyle, is making its return to the Super Bowl stage with a new spot called “The ULTRA Hustle”, harnessing the joy and spirit of friendly competition on and off the court.
Through the lens of the brand’s new equity platform, “Play For An ULTRA”, this year’s commercial focuses on the lengths competitors will go to win.
The ad brings together big names in sports and entertainment, including Academy Award nominee Willem Dafoe and Emmy Award winner Catherine O’Hara, with cameos alongside NFL legend Randy Moss, Olympic gold medalist Ryan Crouser and WNBA Champion Sabrina Ionescu.
The 60-second spot follows the pairing of Dafoe and O’Hara as an unassuming duo who take to the pickleball court and dink, shake-n-bake, and hustle their way to beating the competition and collecting Michelob ULTRA.
Bud Light: ‘Big Men on Cul-De-Sac’
Bud Light, the Official Beer Sponsor of the NFL, is back for football’s biggest weekend with a brand new campaign.
The new ad introduces music superstar Post Malone, actor and comedic powerhouse Shane Gillis, and NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning as BMOCs, otherwise known as “Big Men on Cul-De-Sac,” who are the neighbors everyone relies on to level-up a party with their entertaining expertise, state-of-the-art gadgets, and fully stocked coolers of Bud Light.
The :60 second spot sees best buddies Post Malone and Shane Gillis enjoying the view from their lawn chairs when a neighbor asks for some help in turning up the vibes at his backyard party. Post and Shane jump into action, launching Bud Lights as party invitations to neighbors on the cul-de-sac as the party starts to heat up.
Peyton Manning enters the party as the whole cul-de-sac assembles for a good time where ice-cold Bud Lights are cracking, the meats are smoking, and the vibes are easy.
Mountain Dew
PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew is back at the Super Bowl with its Baja Blast flavor, and it’s enlisted Latin artist Becky G to bring the ‘Do the Dew’ spirit to Super Bowl 59.
After Becky G takes a sip of Baja Blast, she finds herself in a new world where British singer Seal parodies his own work, Kiss from a Rose, as a seal.
Sun Cruiser: Let the good times cruise
Just one year after its regional debut, Sun Cruiser Iced Tea & Vodka is making a big move towards national expansion with its first-ever Big Game commercial.
The spot for the Boston Beer Company brand will air in key media markets: including Boston, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, San Diego, and Tampa.
The 15-second commercial, “Let the Good Times Cruise,” reinforces Sun Cruiser’s refreshing, easy-drinking appeal and captures the laid-back feeling of kicking back with friends outdoors, soaking up the sun and savoring good times.
Coffee Mate: Shania Twain and a Dancing tongue
In its first Super Bowl advert, Nestle USA’s Coffee mate advert is ‘unlike anything you’ve seen before’.
The ad ‘brings to life the full sensory experience of what happens when Coffee mate Cold Foam Creamer first hits your tongue’.
With just one sip, the mouth is transformed into a main stage fit for a superstar...or in this case, a tongue. Featuring the voice of musical icon, Shania Twain, watch as this tongue turned ‘Foam Diva’ busts a move and dances like millions are watching.
