In celebration of Lunar New Year, Tequila Don Julio is releasing the limited-edition Tequila Don Julio 1942 Year of the Snake Edition.

The design of the bottle honors the Year of the Snake with a custom illustration merging the Chinese Zodiac snake and the Aztec feathered serpent. The iconic tall bottle exudes a vibrant red shade and gold accents as an ode to good fortune and prosperity.

Red Bull Zero has launched in the US: a new drink using monk fruit extract, erythritol, sucralose.

The drink has ‘its own unique taste’ to provide a new addition for the brand’s line of energy drinks, with a different taste to Red Bull sugar-free.

Packaged in 8.4-fluid-ounce, matte light-blue cans the drink has a ‘pleasant sourness with notes of tutti frutti, combined with the taste of pineapple and vanilla, revealing a vibrant balance of sweet and tart’.

US better-for-you energy drink CELSIUS has launched its first flavor of 2025: Sparkling Strawberry Passionfruit.

The new flavor is now available nationwide at in-store and online retailers.

“CELSIUS Sparkling Strawberry Passionfruit combines the essence of summertime strawberry flavors and delicious passionfruit flavors to create a dynamic taste experience,” says the brand. “For those of us facing brutal winter weather, this is a warm weather flavor escape. Every sip is a luscious mix of sweet strawberry and passionfruit flavors, resulting in an ideal, refreshing mix.”

NESCAFÉ, the world’s largest coffee producer, is expanding its US portfolio with its first-ever liquid concentrate line: NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate.

Having initially launched in Australia and China last year, the new innovation answers the growing demand in the US for customizable and convenient at-home coffee.

NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate easily dissolves in water or milk, delivering a simple way for coffee lovers to make a premium café-style, iced espresso-based beverage.

The concentrate is made with 100% Arabica beans and comes in two variations:

  • NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate Black, a rich and strong offering
  • NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate Sweet Vanilla, a blend of sweet and smooth

“Though Gen Z and millennial consumers' tastes are ever-evolving, having cold, convenient, customizable, and café-quality coffee remains in demand,” said Felipe Acosta, NESCAFÉ Senior Brand Marketing Manager. “The brand’s first-ever liquid espresso empowers consumer creativity and allows adventurous, modern coffee lovers to create café-style beverages in an instant – without any extra machinery and from the comfort of their home.”

NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate comes in a 300 mL bottle (making approximately 20 cups of high-quality espresso when prepared as directed) and will be available at retailers nationwide starting in February for an MSRP of $9.49 (prices may vary by retailer).

Hydes launches nostalgia-inspired beer ranges for 2025

UK brewer Hydes has announced its new product ranges for 2025.

As seen with the 2024 range, the 18-strong range for 2025 includes six cask ales as part of its bi-monthly vintage offering and 12 seasonal guest ales.

The vintage range comprises historic brews recreated and influenced by the original Hydes Anvil range continuing to take the historic retro styling of Hydes pump and bottle clips from the past as inspiration, which proved popular with drinkers last year.

Adopting the brewery’s original Anvil Brand name, the range sees a varied selection of ales on cask introduced throughout the year including Hydes XPA (4.0% ABV), Hydes Mild (3.4% ABV), Hydes IPA (4.4% ABV), Hydes Red (4.5% ABV), Hydes Stingo (6.0% ABV) and Hydes Imperial (5.2% ABV).

To accompany the ales, Hydes has created retro 60s and 70s-inspired designs featuring the Hydes Anvil Brewery branding to feature on bar pump clips, beer and drip mats and posters.

The seasonal range includes a range of 12 ales that celebrate the beloved retro stylings of the Haynes automotive manuals for a classic range of cars from the 60s, 70s and 80s with a range inspired by the popular guidebooks. 2024’s range was based on classic British TV programs.

The range includes ales inspired by the distinctive manuals for the Mini Cooper, Austin Princess, Ford Sierra, Ford Capri, Audi Quattro, VW Beetle, Porsche Carrera, Triumph Herald, Austin Allegro, Ford Cortina. Vauxhall Cavalier and Morris Mariner.

The first themed ales inspired by the manuals to be introduced are The Cooper, a 3.9% ABV dark session ale for January, The Princess, a refreshingly regal 4.2% ABV pale ale in February, The Sierra a 4.5% ABV American red beer for March and April welcomes The Capri, a 4.6% ABV Golden IPA.
