Rozél Rosé Vodka has introduced its ready-to-drink (RTD) canned spritz this summer.

The drink blends Rozél’s signature vodka, inspired by Côtes de Provence rosé wine’s delicately fruity flavors, with refreshing Raspberry & Rose Lemonade.

Rozél Rosé Vodka launched last summer in Harvey Nichols and Ocado. It combines a triple-distilled premium vodka with natural fruit extracts for notes of juicy raspberries and white peach with a hint of bitter pink grapefruit. The spirit creates a blush hue when added to cocktails and mixers – ideal for creating eye-catching, Insta-worthy serves.

Now, Rozél brings the same quality and flavors to a handy ready-mixed 250ml can, created with fan-favourite Raspberry & Rose Lemonade for a sensational summer spritz.

Rozél Rosé Vodka (5% ABV) is the UK’s first rosé vodka can and is available to buy on Amazon (RRP £2.50 per can).

Carlsberg and Brooklyn Brewery launch fonio brew

Carlsberg has launched a fonio brew: made with the West African grain instead of barley or bittering hops.

The grain, which has thrived in West Africa for more than 5,000 years, is widely used in African cooking. But it’s finding wider potential as a more sustainable alternative than other grains: as it can thrive in poor soils and is drought-resistant.

The new fonio beer was brewed in collaboration with Brooklyn Brewery as part of its ‘Brewing for Impact’ campaign. The campaign was launched by Brooklyn Brewmaster, Garrett Oliver, to celebrate 30 years with the Brewery.

The limited-edition beer, brewed in the Carlsberg Research Laboratory, is described as ‘clean, with soft aromas of apricots, white peaches, and melon with an underlying sweetness and lingering bitterness giving a vibrant and delicate finish’.

The unique fonio bottle design was created by Kevin Bongang, a commercial muralist, designer and painter who was born in Cameroon, West Africa. The label features his vibrant signature style, awash in bold fun colors, swirling lines and whimsical imagery.

Lambrusco

Avaline – an organic, transparent and vegan-friendly wine brand from Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power – has launched a limited edition Lambrusco.

Described as ‘red wine’s cool, younger sister’, the red wine can be enjoyed chilled and over ice, or as an addition to a spritz.

Avaline Lambrusco Sparkling Wine (11% ABV) is made with 100% Lambrusco grapes, with aromas of dried cherry, sandalwood, slight pine resin, roasted coffee beans, dried orange slices, whole clove and blackberry cordial. The palate is rich with black and red roasted plum but the earthy and baking spice heavy notes continue on to the palate.
