Ahead of the fall season, Waterloo Sparkling Water has brought back its nostalgic Spiced Apple and Cranberry sparkling water flavors in the US.

“Just in time for the fresh start to the season, Waterloo's Spiced Apple and Cranberry are ideal for savoring straight from a chilled can while cheering from the sidelines or in a full-flavor mocktail or cocktail around the firepit,” says the brand.

“Waterloo's nostalgic Spiced Apple and Cranberry sparkling water flavors, now in their second and third seasons, respectively, won big on the shelves last year. Spiced Apple ignites the best memories of the season with the perfect balance of warm baked and crisp apple, aromatic spices and sweet cider notes, while Cranberry features a crisp, vibrant and complex flavor profile artfully blending the familiar tartness with juicy and tannin notes – all the best of cranberry.”

Retailer interest in these returning LTO flavors is strong, with double the total volume commitment and 30% more retailers over last year, adds the brand.

Like all Waterloo varieties, both Spiced Apple and Cranberry are free of calories, sugar, and sweeteners. All flavors are made with Non-GMO Project Verified natural flavors and purified carbonated water.

Italian spirit brand Limoncello di Capri has launched a new cream liqueur – ‘offering drinkers another delicious way to enjoy the taste of Capri’.

Owned by Italian spirits group, Molinari, Limoncello di Capri’s original and cream liqueurs are made from 100% Sorrento lemons, a fruit which is recognised with a ‘Protected Geographical Indication’ to guard its provenance. The production process is a traditional one and is carried out on the famously beautiful Amalfi Coast.

“At 19% ABV, the new spirit balances Limoncello di Capri’s quintessential zest and zing with a silky and delicate cream. Combining the lightness of summer with the warm indulgence of the colder months, the spirit is a great option all year round, and launches in the UK with distributor Mangrove Global,” says the brand.

Mangrove Global notes a rise in popularity of cream liqueurs: according to IWSR projections, the category is forecasted to increase its global volume market share from 9% to 13% by 20241.

And whilst the festive season undoubtedly presents a large opportunity for cream liqueurs, younger, urban consumers are enjoying the category in fresh serves and cocktails, all year round.

Limoncello di Capri Cream retaisl at £17 for a 50cl bottle.
