Sea Arch – whose line of botanical non-alcoholic spirits is inspired by the Devon coast in southwest England – is celebrating its launch in Woolworths Metro, an Australian chain of convenience stores.

The brand's RTDs are now rolling out across 40 Woolworth Metro stores - which are owned by supermarket giant Woolworths Group - increasing to more than 80 over the coming months.

Sea Arch Drinks was founded in Devon in 2018 by Sarah and Geoff Yates, using ingredients such as sea kelp in its non-alcoholic innovation. With products available via Ocado, Amazon Prime and Harvey Nichols in its home UK market, the full range is also available in the United Arab Emirates.

Australia becomes the brand's second international market and the new listings are welcomed by the company as 'yet another mark of success' as it continues to grow.

Distilled non-alcoholic spirit

The company’s flagship drink, Sea Arch Coastal Juniper spirit, is distilled from 11 all-natural botanicals including sea kelp, samphire, juniper, blood orange, cardamon and coriander. The non-alcoholic gin is made using traditional copper pot and steam distillation techniques: with each ingredient individually distilled. The result is a sugar-free, calorie-free, allergen-free and vegan friendly non-alcoholic product.

The company debuted its RTDs in November 2020, which are now launching in Australia. The Ready to Drink Sea & T contains a double measure of the Sea Arch Coastal Juniper spirit with a light Indian tonic; and the Rose Sea & T is based on a double measure of Coastal Juniper with a rose and raspberry infused light tonic.

Commenting on the launch, co-founder of Sea Arch Drinks, Sarah Yates said; “We are so thrilled to make the announcement that our Ready to Drink range will be available to Woolworths Metro customers. This is such a significant milestone for us as a growing business and is yet again testament to the appetite for no and low alcohol products globally. We feel that there is a strong alignment between the Sea Arch values and those of Metro customers who commonly look for healthier options in store. We look forward to sharing a flavor of the Devon coast down under.”
