The low to no alcohol category is growing: but how can brands and retailers tap into this opportunity? A new show will put the spotlight on the sector while showcasing some of the most successful brands.

Taking place in London at The Old Truman Brewery on June 9-10, the Low2NoBev show will focus on the booming UK category as well as seeking insights from further afield. BeverageDaily, UK industry bible The Grocer, and insight specialists MCA and Lumina Intelligence are among those coming together to put on the event.

Low and no alcohol brands from both big brands and small entrepreneurs will exhibit at the show. This will be supported by an engaging content program exploring how the category has powered through the pandemic, what to expect in 2021, and the long-term potential of the category.

With the UK this week setting out steps towards ending lockdown restrictions, organiser William Reed (publisher of BeverageDaily) has set out plans to ensure a safe and successful event.

“Following the Government announcement of the ‘Roadmap out of Lockdown’ on February 22, we are extremely positive that we now have an irreversible plan that events can start to run from May 17th.

“Whilst we understand the challenges and the measures that need to be met over these different stages, it importantly allows the Low and No community to plan towards reuniting.

“As planned, the industry will now have the opportunity to come together at Low2NoBev at The Old Truman Brewery, London on June 9th and 10th. This dedicated trade event will give the sector its own voice and support its future growth. From low-abv beers, ciders, wines & spirits to premium soft drinks, cordials and mixers, it will be the must-attend event for anyone who sources and buys low and no-alcohol beverages across retail, hospitality, convenience and the on/off licensed trade.

“William Reed has worked closely with the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) in developing the industry wide AllSecure Standards, designed to provide the highest levels of hygiene and safety, allowing its shows to operate effectively and safely according to Government and local authority guidance.

“We can’t wait to welcome exhibitors and visitors to the Low2NoBev show.”
