Filtec undergoes rebrand and promises refreshed product line
The firm said products will launch domestically at PACK EXPO in Las Vegas in September and internationally at Brau Beviale in Nuremberg in November.
Filtec offers equipment for inspection and marking of empty and full containers on bottling, canning and packaging lines.
The firm’s instrumentation is utilized by beverage companies such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, SABMiller, and ABInBev.
It has shipped over 30,000 units worldwide and has a 120,000 square foot R&D and production complex in Torrance, California which acts as the world headquarters.
David Storey, president and CEO, said uniting Filtec and its nine global subsidiaries under one banner reflects a commitment to be the provider of choice for inspection systems.
Storey joined Filtec in August 2014, as part of SFW Capital‘s strategic investment in the company.
“We aim to be the indisputable leaders in inspection technology and to be the best possible partners for our clients worldwide. We have placed renewed emphasis on developing new technologies and integrating a more customer-centric approach,” he said.
