JBT FoodTech completes Stork ICS acquisition
JBT FoodTech has completed the acquisition of Stork ICS’s hydrostatic sterilizer technology.

The acquisition broadens JBT FoodTech’s portfolio of in-container sterilization technologies to the canning, dairy, pharmaceutical and beverage industry.

The technology will be integrated into the company’s global sales and service network and the business operations of Stork ICS will be integrated into JBT’s operations in Sint-Niklaas (Belgium) and Madera, CA (US).

JBT Corporation, headquartered in Chicago, employs approximately 3,300 people and operates 16 manufacturing facilities in 10 countries with annual revenues of approximately $1bn.

Stork ICS is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Gainesville, GA (US).

Since 1955, more than 600 Hydromatic sterilizers have been installed worldwide to sterilize in-container foods in dairy products, pharmaceuticals and beverages.
