Sunny D excited by US SodaStream co-development deal

Sodastream has inked the deal with Ohio-based Sunny Delight to co-develop SunnyD Tangy Original Orange, Orange-Strawberry and other flavors exclusively for the SodaStream home beverage carbonation system. The firms expect to launch these products in H2 2014 across the United States. Billy Cyr, President and CEO of Sunny Delight, said: “We are excited that consumers will soon be able to enjoy carbonated versions of our SunnyD flavors made at home with the SodaStream system. SodaStream has signed a exclusive deal with Sunny Delight that allows the controversial Israeli firm to add its juice-based drinks to its home carbonation platform.
