Meet the team from Romaco Group’s takeover

The firm, which is based in Cologne, Germany, will now operate under the name Kilian Tableting, a subsidiary of the Romaco Group.

“The successful acquisition of Kilian will allow the Romaco Group to launch into the new fiscal year with an extended portfolio and stronger market presence​,” said Paulo Alexandre, CEO, the Romaco Group.

International sales network​

Jörg Pieper is named as CEO with responsibility for operations, administration and finance. He joined the Romaco Group two years ago and is head of the customer service department.

“The Kilian team is ready to scale new heights​,” said Pieper.

“The international sales network has been reorganized and expanded over the past few months. We’ve defined our development objectives and prepared our market presence right down to the very last detail​.”

Gerd Hueffmann has been appointed managing director with responsibility for new equipment and customer service sales. Prior to arriving at Kilian in September 2013 he gained experience in international sales at Fette Compacting and Korsch AG, amongst others.

A career spanning 20 years​

Jens Carstens will act as managing director responsible for R&D. His career at Kilian began 20 years ago and in his most recent position he was department head of research and development.

All three appointments will be supported by Marcus Behrens, sales director, Stefan Zabka, production manager and Guido Bourtscheidt, finance manager.

In future, Kilian will be directly represented in Germany, Italy and the US. New sales partnerships have been established to develop business in France and Spain.
