Bemis builds platform in Asia-Pacific
The specialty film manufacturer is located in Foshan, China and Bemis said the transaction is not expected to impact their earnings per share guidance for 2013.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed but Bemis said the acquisition establishes a film platform for the firm in the region.
Henry Theisen, president and chief executive officer of Bemis, said: “NCS has strong customer relationships and expertise in specialty film manufacturing for food packaging, personal care packaging, consumer electronics and specialty applications.
“With this new specialty film platform, we are well positioned to increase our market position in the Asia-Pacific region.”
