Coca-Cola Amatil is recalling five Schweppes mixers because of possible glass contamination.

The 300ml clear glass bottles are Schweppes Lemonade, Schweppes Tonic Water, Schweppes Soda, Schweppes Dry Ginger Ale and Schweppes Soda Lemon Twist.

The recall of these products is due to a fault in glass bottles within the batches which may have chipped finishes and glass fragments.

Affected products are sold as a 4-pack or individually with a best before date between 10 January 2014 to 30 January 2014.

Bottles were sold in supermarkets, cafés, licensed premises and other retail outlets throughout New Zealand.
