Rolf Keller and Andrea Kalrait from Nürnberg Messe talk to Ben Bouckley about the key themes of Brau Beviale 2012, live from the show floor.

Keller, who is member of the management board for Nürnberg Messe, and has been the show's project leader, said: "You can see the attendance is high, the show is running well. The second day is normally the heaviest day in terms of attendance...we expect in total this year over 31,000 visitors from all departments."

Andrea Kalrait will take over show management responsibilities from next year, and discussing wider industry sentiment she told Ben Bouckley: "Of course, the crisis affects the beverage industry as well...that is a problem that is still ongoing.

"We haven't reached the bottom but I am very optimistic, because people will always drink and eat. And that is a very good thing for us."
