Pepsi hopes summer-time NEXT flavors will build brand awareness
PepsiCo has told BeverageDaily.com that it believes its two new summer-time only flavours will continue to encourage consumer trial and awareness of the its new mid-calorie cola launch Pepsi NEXT.

Actor William Levy (pictured) launched Pepsi NEXT Paradise Mango and Pepsi NEXT Cherry Vanilla at an event in Glendale, California on July 17.

The firm said that Paradise Mango would provide a "tropical infusion"​ to Pepsi NEXT drinkers, while Cherry Vanilla was "a new twist on a tried and true favorite for just the right bursts of flavors".

Pepsi spokeswoman Andrea Canabal told BeverageDaily.com: "Pepsi NEXT has been meeting expectations with a current volume share of 0.8%. We’re excited to now give consumers another reason to drink it to believe it with our two new flavors. 

She added: 'We believe that these two new flavors will continue to encourage consumer trial and awareness for the NEXT brand, a brand and a product that stands alone as the only mid-calorie cola to provide real cola taste with 60 percent less sugar."
