KHS shines a light on simplified bottle inspection system
One light source within a bottle inspection system instead of two or three means considerably easier cleaning – especially when the machine has a built-in water shower.
Jűrgen Herrmann, manager of inspection technology at KHS, explains that the key feature of his company’s new machine for inspecting empty glass bottles is the single light source. This prevents having to halt the machine for time-consuming cleaning of multiple light sources.
The market trend that drove development of this machine is the need to manage all kind of inspection devices within one line, by buying and using one controller system.
