Wild identifies recession beating natural ingredients

Beverage sales have flattened out over the past year but healthy growth remains in the market for natural ingredients. Wild identifies the ingredients in the natural sphere it believes have the most potential to resist any recessionary fallout.

Christopher Beck, VP for marketing in Europe, said sales of natural ingredients are holding up well in the recession. He said natural flavours and colours, as well as tea extracts are all performing well.

But he said that one of the hottest ingredients in the natural sphere is Stevia and revealed that Wild will be presenting natural sweeteners based on Stevia at the Drinktec trade show in September.
