Kliklok Woodman has supplied a machine to carton a special pack of two Irish coffees in shaped glasses for St Brendans in Londonderry, part of the Kerry Foods Group.

The company says that the product in the glass is quite unique - a gelled, two-layer product which microwaves into an Irish liqueur coffee, suitable for dinner parties or special occasions.

Kliklok produced a machine based on their original 'K' end load cartoner, where the product is hand loaded into the carton, and the flaps are closed & glued automatically at 15 cartons per minute.

The 'K' was built as an 'opposite hand' machine to fit the requirements of the St Brendans factory where it will shortly be installed, anticipating a busy time in the lead up to Christmas.

Based in Bristol, UK, Kliklok is a global company providing packaging solutions for the cartoning segment. The company, which also has major operations in the US, specialises in delivering tailor-made solutions based around individual requirements.
