Monster fights with Coca-Cola over competing energy drinks

As the largest shareholder in Monster Beverage, Coca-Cola struck a non-competing deal with it when it comes to energy products. Now the two companies have a difference of opinion over Coke’s plans to release new energy drinks in 2019.

Products containing CBD do not provide a ‘high’ as often associated with marijuana and can be sold anywhere in the US.

Sprig CBD sodas expand to nine states

UK to introduce plastic packaging tax

The UK is planning to introduce a ‘world-leading’ tax on plastic packaging in 2022: applying to all single use plastic packaging that doesn’t include at least 30% recycled content.
