Low/no alcohol consumption to rise by a third by 2026
Low-to-no beer, cider, wine and spirit products grew over 7% in volume across 10 key global markets in 2022, according to fresh data from IWSR Drinks Market Analysis.
The market value of these products surpassed US$11 billion (€10.4 billion) in 2022, up from US$8 billion in 2018, said the alcohol data and analysis provider.
A dynamic no and low alcohol category presents opportunities for brands to recruit consumers from neighboring categories such as soft drinks and water.
