MANE and Akbar Teas partner for tea extracts

French flavour and fragrance house MANE has announced a strategic partnership with Akbar Brothers Sri Lanka, to provide high-end tea and coffee extracts.

The joint venture called Ethical Extracts will create one of the world’s first producers of all natural premium Ceylon tea extracts, while also working in specialty coffee.

Ethical Extracts will work in partnership with customers around the world through the MANE Strategic Development Centre in Singapore and other Group Strategic Development Centres.

With the supply chain prowess of Akbar teas that dates back to 1900s; the technical and research strength of MANE of nearly 150 years; and a manufacturing facility equipped with the most modern process technologies for aqueous extraction; Ethical Extracts is uniquely positioned to provide the highest quality concentrates and aromas to beverage, food and cosmetic sectors globally,”​ says MANE.
