Belvac Production Machinery has acquired Rosario Can Technology based in Dongen, The Netherlands.

Rosario designs, develops and manufactures decorators, base coating machinery and replacement parts for the production of beverage, food and aerosol cans.  

Richard Steigerwald, president, Belvac, based in the US, said Rosario’s innovation and service reputation in can decoration further expands its existing capabilities in metal can forming and inspection. 

He said Belvac is the only company in the world offering this particular combination of integrated, container value enhancing products. 

With the addition of decorating and base coating technology to our portfolio, our customers have access to the broadest possible package manufacturing needs​,” he added. 

Harry van Tuijn, owner, Rosario, said the company was established in 1971 and since then it has earned a strong reputation for building world-class machinery.

Belvac designs and produces continuous motion rotary machinery. It provides beverage, food and aerosol can makers with high-speed cupping systems, can forming, decorating, trimming, necking, base reprofiling and reforming, shaping, bottom rim coating, flanging and inspection technology.
