Most misleading products 2016: Foodwatch Awards

The ‘Golden Egg’ awards seek to ridicule food producers for their misleading claims about products.

Chairman of the awards and Foodwatch campaigner Sjoerd van de Wouw told FoodNavigator that the campaigns are not solely to ridicule their nominees and winners, but to encourage change in the market. “Last year 3 of 7 candidates did stop misleading during our contest… so we expect quite the same result this year.”
