Mamma Chia debuts new chia and greens line
The latest offering from Mamma Chia is a new line of 10oz organic green beverages formulated with hydrated chia seeds, fruit juices, kale puree and a blend of spirulina, spinach, broccoli, barley grass and wheatgrass.
There are four varieties in the new range, which contains more protein and fiber than rival offerings, claims the firm: Grateful Greens (Kale & Mint), Joyful Greens (Ginger & Lemongrass), Love Greens (Beet & Ginger) and Soulful Greens (Cayenne & Lemon), each containing 120 calories, 14g of sugar (from fruit juice; no sugar is added), 2500mg omega-3, 7g fiber and 4g protein.
