In November, FoodNavigator-Asia saw its widest read story of the year, which went viral across on social networks all continents. In it, commercial hemp grower Paul Benhaim looked at whether the plant’s oil would replace fish as the “king of omega 3” (pictured).
In the midst of its process of reviewing its health foods regulations, China announced a new “nutritional supplements” category, which had long been lacking.
We also looked at Hong Kong as the gateway to China’s promising craft beer market, which analysts say will soon be ripe for the picking.
