Uni of Bonn conducts ‘innovation impact’ EU health claims survey
The University of Bonn is asking all European Union food sector stakeholders to give input into the effect the EU nutrition and health claim regulation (NHCR) is having on innovation across the bloc.

“This is a study to analyse the impact of NHCR on innovation in the food sector,” ​the German institution said.

The survey focuses on the general function article 13.1 section of the controversial regulation that began being implemented in 2008 and has only approved about 250 mostly vitamin and mineral submissions with 1000s rejected.
