CEREAL MILK AND YUZU 'SUPERFRUIT' ALSO TIPPED FOR TOP

The latest super fruit, yuzu, is already used to flavor cocktails in swanky US bars – and apparently tastes like a cross between lemon, mandarin and grapefruit.
In Japan yuzu juice is used to season dishes, and Heineken’s former Finnish division Hartwall released a limited edition soda (left) containing the juice, while Dutch beer brand iKi sells a green tea and yuzu beer at 4.2% ABV.
“The yuzu fruit, which has developed from sour grapefruit and sweet mandarin, gives the…Hartwall Jaffa summer product a nice citrusy crispness,” Hartwall said in a summer 2011 press release.
One US brand, The Perfect Puree of Napa Valley, sells a Yuzu Juice-based cocktail mixer called Yuze Luxe Sour that also contains lemon, lime and tangerine juices, along with lemongrass flavors.
One cocktail suggestion is a Yuzu Martini, which mixes Yuze Luxe Sour with vodka in equal dimensions.
