‘Gob’ used to make Perrier bottle
Here you can see the initial glass gob used to make a Perrier bottle, which is heated to around 1,150 C depending on the shape of the package. The neck of the bottle is shaped by pressing, and the gob then passes to the finishing mold where it is blown using compressed air.
