‘Where are wine’s most successful companies placing their bets for the future?’ This panel discussion brought together experts such as Simon McMurtrie (CEO, Direct Wines), Dan Jago, UK and group wine director (Tesco Stores Plc.) and Christophe Salin, president and CEO of Les Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite).
The panel was despondent on India’s current prospects, with McMurtrie referring to India’s ‘impossible’ trade barriers that the panel agreed is hampering growth.
