A new packaging machine can bag snacks and confectionery products
at high speeds with minimal waste, according to the manufacturer.

The Robag 3 tx 320 rotary double jaw can bag snack and confectionery foods at speeds of up to 150 bpm, while its jaw will leave less than half a percentage of waste, TNA Solutions said. When a Delta 314 scale is integrated to the bagger say the machine will weigh out the product for complete accuracy, "to ensure bags come off the line without issue and true to size". The bagger is a vertical form, fill and seal machine, which the company claims is a "benchmark packaging solution for the industry". TNA Solutions claims the machine can be easily adapted for a wide range of foods. The company told ConfectioneryNews.com that earlier models of the bagger have been used for a variety of sweets such as gummy bears and liquorice, including by Mars Confectionery, General Mills, Aussie Sweets and Cadbury New Zealand. Robag 3 TX320 RDJ will be launched at the Agroprodmash event from 15th to 19th October 2007 in Moscow.
