The Institute of Packaging has published its 2003 Directory and Review, a 424 page publication containing listings and contacts of UK manufacturers, suppliers, consultants and packaging professionals.
The publication is a source of intelligence throughout the industry and includes a comprehensive Buyers' Guide, the full listing of packaging professionals in membership of the Institute of Packaging, overseas suppliers with UK representation and articles from packaging industry experts covering the latest developments across all packaging materials and processes. In total there are some 4,000 listings.
The Directory & Review is indexed and cross-referenced to provide a fast reference resource for anyone involved in the UK's packaging sector - estimated to directly or indirectly employ up to 250,000 people and generate sales turnover of £15-20 billion.
Launching the Directory, IOP chief executive, John Webb-Jenkins said, "For a nation to be successful, it must have a well-trained workforce with fast access to information and contacts within the industry. This Directory and Review is the single authoritative reference work for those working in packaging."
The Institute of Packaging is a UK-based organisation with some 3000 members. It is geared towards professionals in the packaging industry, providing resources, contacts and a host of programmes geared towards promoting the industry.
