Mark Nease from Oystar North America shows Ben Bouckley the world’s first high-speed pouching machine that forms, fills, seals pouches of virtually any size containing free-flowing and non free-flowing dried- beverage or food powders.

Speaking at Pack Expo 2012 in Chicago yesterday, Mark Nease, product design manager, pouching at Oystar North America, told BeverageDaily.com why the adjustable Pouch King (pictured) marked a breakthrough.

Nease said:“It stands out in the market because of its flexibility coupled with its speed capability. It’s a fully adjustable, horizontal form filling seal machine that can reach speeds upwards of 500 pouches per minute.”

“Customers are really looking for that higher speed output coupled with the flexibility of the machine,” he added.
