SIG Combibloc is supplying Del Monte with 1000ml carton packs for its new fruit-based drink range Del Monte Occasions in the UK.

Packaged in combifitMidi cartons with combiSwift screw caps, the new drinks feature Pineapple Mojito, Spicy Tomato and Orchard Zest flavors.

Del Monte promises that the drinks work equally well without alcohol, and the drinks are now available in the UK via co-operation with Gerber Juice Company.

SIG Combibloc noted that all three varieties (pictured right) could be drunk neat, but also provided  drinks bases that alcohol could be added to.

Del Monte UK commercial director, Tony Gill, said: “Our new ‘Occasions’ beverage range is targeted primarily at adults.

“Packaging is essential to the success of our new range,” he added. “The carton pack combifit/Midi provides optimal protection from light and air, ensuring flavors, colors, nutrients and vitamins in the products are preserved.

“The easy-to-use packaging frees up precious time for party hosts when preparing drinks for their guests,” Gill said.
