Leading packaging firm Roberts PolyPro is set to launch its single EasyLift beverage carrier at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2003 and Worldwide Food Expo '03. The first event takes place between 13 and 15 October, while the second runs from 29 October to 1 November.

The firm claims that the new single EasyLift beverage carrier will give consumers an easier means of handling large gallon size bottles.

"Increasingly, all large bottles are packaged with handles to aid in lifting and pouring and our carriers are an ideal consumer solution," said company president Allan Sutherland. "Additionally, we offer a full range of application solutions to fit our client's needs, from manual to fully automatic application, at speeds from 60 to 300 bottles a minute."

The new product will come in a number of colours to match existing graphics and will be available to fit a number of different-sized caps. In addition, the firm claims that the single EasyLift beverage carrier can save up to 30 per cent in shipping and storage costs over existing carriers due to their flat design and organised cartridge format.
