M. Holland Company expands nylon distribution to flexible packaging
The companies have been partners in distributing nylon for the past several years, primarily in the compounding markets and now plan to expand their nylon distribution to include flexible packaging applications.
"We are excited to expand our partnership with Honeywell. This gives us a complete set of resins to combine for various functional requirements, allowing us to become a 'one-stop-shop' for our customers who make high performance films," said Rudy Bourgeois, VP, Film Development.
"This includes skin layers for sealing and strength properties, core layers for barrier and strength properties, and tie layers to bind them together."
In addition to Honeywell 6 and 6/6,6 nylons, M. Holland Company film resin portfolio includes LDPE, EVA, EMA, EBA, LLDPE, LLDPEm (elastomers and plastomers), HDPE, HMW HDPE, PP metallocene, PP, COP, RCP, SBC, and Tie layer resins.
