LIVE FROM THE SHOW FLOOR: BRAU BEVIALE 2012

Labelling development geared towards ‘individual requirements’ - KHS

Michael Zwilling – head of processing projects at KHS - spoke with reporter Mark Astley at Brau Beviale 2012 in Nuremberg about the company’s new, platform-based labelling system – the Innoket Neo.

According to KHS, the redeveloped system is “geared entirely towards the individual requirements of the companies that use it” as users that opt for the use of one single labelling process per machine or combined a number of processes if required.

“KHS offers modular labelling machines – that means labelling machines where the stations are interchangeable – as well as dedicated labellers, which are designed for one principle or the combination of fixed labelling stations,” Zwilling told FoodProductionDaily.com and BeverageDaily.com.

“What we see here is the new platform for dedicated labelling. That means the machine here looks similar to a modular one but the labelling stations are fixed and they are not standing on a table like we have with a conventional design.”
