CCC makes second acquisition in space of two months

Consolidated Container Company acquires Madras
Consolidated Container Company (CCC) has acquired all assets of Madras Packaging, marking the second acquisition since its takeover by Bain Capital this year.

The deal for the plastic container manufacturer is expected to close in the next few weeks and follows the buy of Roffe Container in September.

Madras Pacakging has facilities in Argos and Atlanta with an annual production capacity of nearly 850 million bottles. It produces HDPE, LDPE, and PP containers for industries including dairy and beverage.

Jeffrey Greene, president and CEO of CCC, said the acquisition supports their plan of growing through a mixture of organic growth and targeted M&A activity.

“The addition of the Argos facility enhances CCC’s ability to serve key regional and national customers in the industrial and specialty chemicals markets in the Midwest and Greater Chicago regions.

“The Atlanta plant expands our ability to serve key customers in multiple sites with our national platform.”
