German food ingredients giant Sudzucker, in a trading statment in advance of its results, reports positive earnings for the half year.
The group announced a hike in revenues within the first half year of the current financial year 2011/12 by around 9% from €3,068m to €3,338m.
It said that group operating profit increased by around 23% rising by €66m to €347m., with Sudzucker noting that the sugar and fruit segments contributed to the earnings hike.
The company's full interim report for the first half year 2011/12 will be published on 13 October.
